Referral Program Terms

These terms govern the Snarky Tiles “Give $50, Get $50” Referral Program (the “Program”). By sharing a referral code or redeeming one, you agree to these terms.

1. How the Program works

Existing Snarky Tiles customers (“Referrers”) receive a personal referral code to share with friends. When a new customer (a “Referred Friend”) uses that code on a qualifying first order and that order ships, the Referrer earns $50 in Snarky Tiles store credit.

2. Referred Friend discount

The referral code gives the Referred Friend $50 off their first Snarky Tiles order of a full custom tile set.
The discount applies only to first-time customers with no prior purchase history at Snarky Tiles, and only to orders that include at least one qualifying set.
One referral code per order, and the $50 discount applies once per order regardless of how many sets the order contains. Referral codes cannot be combined with any other discount, promotion, or credit.
The discount applies to the product subtotal only and does not apply to shipping, taxes, or other fees.

3. Referrer reward

The Referrer earns $50 in store credit for each Referred Friend whose qualifying order ships. Credit is delivered by email as a single-use credit code.
Store credit accumulates: each time a new reward is earned, your existing unredeemed credit code is replaced with a new code worth your combined unredeemed balance. Only the most recently issued code is valid.
Store credit may be applied to any future Snarky Tiles order. Credit applies to the product subtotal only and does not apply to shipping, taxes, or other fees. Credit codes expire 12 months from the date of issue.
One credit code may be used per order and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. If your credit exceeds your order total, the remaining balance is not refunded, paid in cash, or carried over.
The maximum outstanding (unredeemed) referral credit per customer is $449. Credit earned beyond that amount is held and becomes available after you redeem your existing balance.
Store credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be sold or exchanged.

4. What doesn't count

A referral does not qualify, and no reward will be issued (or an issued reward may be revoked), if:

The Referred Friend's order is canceled, refunded, or subject to a chargeback;
The Referrer and the Referred Friend are the same person, or we reasonably believe they are (including matching email addresses, shipping addresses, or payment details) — you can't refer yourself, even under a clever alias;
The referral code was obtained from a coupon aggregator, posted for the general public rather than shared personally, or distributed through paid advertising, spam, or bulk messaging;
The order did not include a qualifying full set, or the code was not applied at checkout (we cannot retroactively apply referral codes);
The referral otherwise violates these terms or applicable law.

5. Our rights

Snarky Tiles may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, or change reward amounts and eligibility, at any time. Changes will not revoke credit already earned, but unredeemed credit remains subject to its expiration date.
We may withhold, void, or claw back rewards where we suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms, at our reasonable discretion.
We may deactivate any referral code at any time, including codes that appear on third-party coupon sites.
These terms are in addition to our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Referral rewards may be treated as discounts, not income; you are responsible for any tax consequences of participating.

6. Sharing responsibly

Share your code with people you actually know. By sending a referral, you confirm you have permission to contact that person. Don't spam — it's off-brand, even for us.
